A teacher-driven, student-led tradition has begun at the Poplar Bluff Technical Career Center to treat kindergartners on Halloween while providing some early exposure to the programming taught there.

A hometown connection recently led to a donation of classroom materials in excess of $30,000 made by a curriculum company to aid in tornado recovery efforts at the Poplar Bluff Kindergarten Center.

Dollar General Corporation has donated $5,000 to the Poplar Bluff Kindergarten Center to assist with recovery efforts, as educators hope to return to their classrooms at the Camp Road facility in time for the new school year to begin.
